With the new PADI eLearning program, you can learn the
basics of scuba diving from the comfort of your own home.
This online course will start you on your way to becoming
a PADI Open Water Diver. Here's how it works:
Using the link below, you go to the PADI eLearning site,
and register for the Open Water Diver course online. The
cost for the eLearning program is $120. This is the academic
portion of the Open Water course, and provides you with the
knowledge base you will need to complete the PADI Open
Water Diver certification program.
Upon completion of the eLearning portion of the course, you
will then need to call and schedule the remainder of the course
with Ocean Divers *. This part of the course can be completed in
two days. It includes pool skill training in the mornings, and
open water training dives in the afternoons, of both days.
The cost is $399 and includes the use of the SCUBA gear for
the two days, the boat trips for training dives, and the fees
for processing your certification.
Ocean Divers requires that you obtain the PADI e-Learning
Enhancement pack that consists of Dive Planner, Recreational
dive planner guide and training log book student folder prior
to arrival . You may purchase this at your local PADI facility
or we would be happy to send it to you.
Each student should have his or her own snorkeling gear
(mask, snorkel, and fins). Additionally, each student will
need to have his/her own dive log book and dive tables.
These items are NOT included in the course fees.
